The aim of the project is to promote the contribution of the civic society in minimising the economic and social differences in Northern Kurzeme while carrying out the activities in Talsi municipality and its surroundings to improve the life quality of the youth and seniors in the risk group of social rejection and poverty.
In order to promote the seniors active socializing, active ageing and civic participation the Talsi Regional Fund and Talsi Pensioners association within the framework of the project are planning to involve into charity activities up to 17 interest clubs (up to 100 seniors), to organize 10 lectures on health to seniors in Talsi, Sabile, Valdemarpils and Stende (up to 850 participants), to hold the Northern Kurzeme Seniors forum.
To promote the youth motivation, to develop leadership skills and participation into improvement of the quality of life in surroundings the Talsi Regional Fund cooperating with the Talsi municipality and regional youth organizations are going to implement Youth Initiative Stimulating Summer and Winter Charity Schools ( 50 young people),  to organize 7 classes to regional youth club and interest group members (up to 175 participants), to organize the Great Day of the whole community gathering up to 350 active young people.
To form the collaboration of the generations the events for both regional youth and seniors are planned. These events will also favour cooperation of the regional senior and youth NGO/ interest groups with local authority. The Talsi Regional Fund, Talsi municipality and regional youth organizations are preparing 3 sports days for both the youth and seniors ( up to 350 participants), 2 dancing parties ( up to 450 participants) as well as both young people and seniors together are going to landscape the path for sports and active rest around Lake Vilkmuižas located in Talsi town (up to 50 young people and seniors will take part in this work).
To aid strengthening of the regional senior and youth NGO capacity the Talsi Regional Fund and the project partners together are planning to arrange honouring on International Voluntaries Day. In its turn the event "Cooperation between Generations in Northern Kurzeme" is planned to pass on accumulated experience to coteries from Latvia.
The intended activities are going to take place in the territory of Kurzeme planning area Talsi municipality while  a part of the events are going to include Talsi, Roja and Dundaga municipalities ( all of them with the territory development index under 0), also those people who are interested in it from other parts of Latvia.
The total costs of the project activities are LVL 22 652,76 and the Talsi Regional Fund and the project partners are financing 5% of the them.
