The target group of the project is low-income, unemployed and self-employed persons.
The main issue of the project is social inequality; the goal of the project is to decrease it. In order to reach the goal following enabling objectives have been set: to promote the growth of self-esteem and creative uplift, to train the members of the target group to take a part in the operation of topic-related webpage These activities will promote their social inclusion and reduce the inequality in the society.
Innovation of the project is documentary stories of craftsmen success that have been created to inspire the participants to be more active and creative.
The expected results of the project are to develop competitive craftsmen that could be achieved by learning new skills and acquirements in the workshops, attending seminars and inspiring themselves by watching craftsmen’s documentary stories.
The partners of the project are going to provide the participants with the workshops.

Project results: The aim of the project was to develop the growth of self-confidence and creativity of the target group and to encourage them to participate in the activities of therefore stimulating their social inclusion and decreasing social inequality. The issue of social inequality has been solved within the project.
11 creative workshops were organized within the project, 3 of which took place under the guidance of the association ‘Sukrums’, 3 were organized by the project partner - association ‘Kūzuls’, while 5 workshops took place under the leadership of the other project partner - association ‘Saulessvece’. 50 documentary stories about the success of active and creative masters of their craft were shown, an exhibition of the photographies was organized, and the target group went on an experience exchange visit to Latgale and took part in the SRS Educational and Informative seminars. The main result achieved within the project was the formation of competitive craftsmen by the target group acquiring new skills and knowledge in workshops, attending informative seminars and drawing inspiration from the experience exchange visit and from the documentary stories.
The target group of the project were people from Baltinava region at risk of social exclusion and poverty. In total 177 persons of the target group took part in the project.
The associations ‘Kūzuls’ and ‘Saulessvece’ were chosen to be the project partners for the implementation of the project. These different partners were chosen so that the people from the target group would have a wider range of opportunities to develop skills in various crafts. Accordingly, the partners had a great influence on the achieved project results.
