Project "Diversity promotion"

In the framework of the operational programme's "Growth and Employment" specific support objective's No.9.1.4. "To increase the integration of persons subject to discrimination risks in the society and the labour market" activity No. "Diversity promotion (prevention of discrimination)", a project "Diversity promotion" (No. is being implemented.

Society Integration Foundation in cooperation with Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs and Providing State Agency.

Objectives of the project:
To promote the employment and socioeconomic inclusion of persons subject to risks of social exclusion and discrimination, at the same time fostering the increase of the level of information and understanding in the society as a whole on the issues of prevention of discrimination and of inclusive society.

Activities to be implemented in the framework of the project:

- defining the profile of the target group (SUMMARY of the research "Profiling of potentional target groups for motivation and support services and the needs assessment study" (2017);
- providing services for increasing motivation and of support;
- mid-term review.

- support activities, promoting the creating of inclusive workspaces and diversity management systems.

Target groups:

- persons subject to the risk of discrimination due to their gender, including persons returning from parental leave, persons who have suffered from violence, persons who are primary caregivers to other family members, single parents;
- persons subject to the risk of discrimination due to their age (persons over the age of 50);
- persons subject to the risk of discrimination due to disability, including unemployed persons with a disability, persons with a disability and low level of education;
- persons subject to the risk of discrimination due to their ethnicity, including Roma people and other ethnic minorities;

Total funding of the project is 6 813 045 euro, consisting of funding from European Social Fund amounting to 5 791 088 euro and state budget funding amounting to 1 021 957 euro.

The project implementation period is from the 1st quarter of 2016 until the end of the 4th quarter of 2022.
